The aim of the guidance program is to help each student receive the greatest benefit from the wide variety of educational opportunities available at Schurz High School.
Every student will work with his/her guidance counselor/grade advisor throughout his/her entire Schurz career. The counselor will assist the student to develop an educational plan designed to help him/her achieve individual educational goals. Together, they will explore career opportunities and develop tentative college and career goals. The counselor will be available for personal counseling and other assistance that the student or parent might need.
